Dear Birch Families,

I want to wish everyone a very happy and safe summer!  We have had a wonderful year here at Birch, and I look forward to having some time to rest, spend time with family and friends, and start planning for the 2010-2011 school year.  I am sure your families have started planning all of the activities that you would like to do also!

I will miss the third graders very much, and wish them the best of luck as they embark on their next adventure…they will do amazing things!  Everyone at Birch will also be missing Ms. Loosli as she prepares to move to Florida. We wish her the best retirement possible!

Over the summer, do not forget to encourage your children to practice their academic skills! A weekly trip to the library to choose some engaging reading material would be a great thing to do.  As always, we appreciate all of the support we receive from our families.

I cannot wait to see all of you again in August.  Fall school supply sales will be here before you know it!
