Butternut Primary again was among one of 134 Ohio schools to be recognized as the State Superintendent's Schools of Promise for the 2008-2009 school year.
This honor is based on the achievement of our students in reading and mathematics; and Butternut met or exceeded the rigorous selection criteria.

These results demonstrate all students regardless of location, income, race or disability can learn.
An official Schools of Promise banner will be given for display to our school building.
