MARCH MAGAZINE MADNESS~MARCH MAGAZINE MADNESS
In an effort to grow our paper recycling program and raise some additional money, Student Council is asking for your support. From March 7-25 we are trying to double our paper intake from March 2010. We are especially trying to collect any magazines due to the extra weight, but we are also still collecting newspapers, junk mail, catalogs, file folder, phone books and any other type of paper.
Also if you work at a business that does not currently have a recycling program, we are inviting you to bring your office paper to our Paper Retriever bin. You would be helping Student Council and the environment. The bin is located at Pine School by the playground. You can drop off your papers anytime, including evenings and weekends.
Thank you for your continued support of Pine Student Council projects.
4Th R is a tutoring program for sixth graders at Pine School in collaboration
with North Olmsted High School students. Two days a week high school students
come to Pine and help sixth graders work on their homework, study for a test,
or review and practice some of their math and reading skills for state
achievement tests. It has been a successful program at Pine for several years
with high school and intermediate students working in cooperation to improve
academic goals.
