The annual Community Council
Homecoming celebration is August 23, 24, 25, and 26, 2012.
Our schools will again open the
four-day community homecoming in the Big Event Tent on the midway on Thursday,
August 23rd, from 6:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.
We had so much fun last year with Neil and Christy as our DJ's that we invited them back for more line dancing, hula hooping, limbo and fun!
End the summer and start the new school year on an upbeat note as our new Superintendent, Terry Krivak, your building Principals and PTA Presidents welcome you back to school.
The homecoming theme each year
is "There's
no place like home ....... North Olmsted."
The PARADE is on Sunday, August 26h. The theme is "Dream Big!"
The parade steps off at 1:00
p.m. from the Middle School on Butternut Ridge Rd.
All parents and children are invited to march in the parade with your school. Please assemble on the Middle School lawn at 12:30 p.m. and look for your school Principal and PTA President, who will have your school banner.
Orange and black are the colors
of the day.
The Community Council Homecoming
event raises funds for
student scholarships, community improvements, and much more.
This year the Community Council
awarded $8,000.00 in scholarships to students, including renewals for students
who received one as seniors.
A parade float application is attached. Why not get together with neighbors and enter a float.
A flyer with information on the Back to School Night in the Big Event Tent is also attached.
