Marilyn Ransom's civic minded contributions help make North Olmsted a great place to live, work, play, raise a family, and retire.
She makes all of us better by knowing her!
Marilyn has done so many things since she moved to North Olmsted in 1967 that it is almost impossible to list them all.
Marilyn Ransom moved to North Olmsted – got involved – and hasn’t stopped.
She and her husband, Bill, raised their three children in North Olmsted, sent them to the N.O. schools K-12, and supported education for all children through their volunteer efforts.
Marilyn is a community volunteer, organizer, and “doer” who never makes it a big deal about what she’s accomplished. She tackles the toughest jobs with enthusiasm and a contagious spirit.
The North Olmsted City Schools join the N.O. Community Council and the City of North Olmsted in congratulating Marilyn on being named Citizen of the Year for 2012!
A summary of her many accomplishments is attached.
