We know this can be a challenging time in many different ways. Attached are suggestions and tips for students, parents and staff members to help take care of yourself during this time. This information will be updated each week.

Did you know that stress and anxiety often escalates when we feel “out of control?” Remember some of these thoughts and add your own into these categories:

Household Tips: Spring in is the Air! Here are two DYI recipes you can try as the weather begins to make outside time more enjoyable.

 

1. Homemade Weed Killer- No chemicals needed, children and animal safe.

Here are the instructions: ¼ cup of salt. 1 teaspoon of dishwashing liquid. 3 cups of vinegar. Mix in an empty spray bottle. Spot treat the weeds you’d like gone!

 

                                                                                   

2. Sidewalk chalk Paint:

Here’s the instructions:

Add 2 Tablespoons of cornstarch into a measuring cup with 2 Tablespoons of water.

Grate half a piece of chalk into the mixture. Pour into a muffin tin and repeat for each color you’d like to make.

 

 

Are your kids having trouble sleeping? Sometimes stress and uncertainty can cause an increase in fears, difficulty falling asleep, and even nightmares. Reassure your little ones with this fun craft/ activity that may help them put those worries to rest: DREAMCATCHERS!- Follow this tutorial to make your own. https://www.wikihow.com/Make-a-Dreamcatcher Be creative. Use supplies you have on hand, such as yarn, beads, feathers, sticks, plastic costume bracelets- Whatever you can find!
