School is out for the
summer. The U.S. Department of
Agriculture (U.S.D.A.) is providing a community grant to provide meals for
children at no charge during the summer.
This grant is similar to the
program that the U.S.D.A. offers to senior citizens in our community. Meals MUST be eaten on site and there is NO CARRY-OUT.
The Summer Meal Program will begin June
13/14, 2011 and run through August 19, 2011. There is no meal service on July 4th. Any child under age 18 is
eligible to receive meals at no cost.
