Butternut has developed a club designed for 3rd graders to be involved in a Leadership Development Program called "Eagleteers."
Students learn skills through discussions and practice on
what makes a good leader ~ such as being a role model,
good communication, showing respect, being honest and fair.

We just completed our 1st semester of Eagleteers,
and at the All Star Awards Assembly on Friday, January 27th,
these students were presented
a Leadership Award and pin for their great service.

This is the first step on their journey to
becoming effective leaders in their school and community.
