Principal’s Message

January 2017

Happy New Year to all students, staff, parents, and community members of North Olmsted High School. We are very pleased to ring in the new year, and to continue with what has thus far been a very successful 2016/2017 school year. As we enter January and the cold winter months, I again encourage all students to please attend school daily, and to be on time for school. We cannot teach the student that is not here. Please come to school each and every day. The direct connection between regular attendance and success in school is very easy to see.

A reminder that our midterm exams were held in December. If any student was absent or missed an exam for an excused reason, the test can still be made up within the first few weeks of January. Please get the semester exams taken care of if need be. The first semester/second quarter ends on Friday, January 20, which is also our re scheduled Day of Giving.

There is no school for students on Monday, January 16 (MLK Day), Monday January 23 (Staff Records Day) and Tuesday, January 24 (Staff Professional Development Day.) Second semester/third quarter begins on Wednesday, January 25, 2017.

If I can be of any assistance, please contact me at jeff.stanton@nocseagles.org, or by phone at 440-779-3520.

Go Eagles!

Jeff
