NOHS Parents, Guardians, and Students:
We continue moving through the school year in fine fashion as we enter the month of March. The weather continues to be cold outside and we have had a lot of snow, including a number of snow days. Hopefully this lion of a winter will go out as a lamb soon. In the meantime, we will continue to do our best inside NOHS to maintain normal school days, and we ask for your assistance to do this. How can you help? Please encourage your children to get to school daily. March is a very important month of the school year, as third quarter comes to an end, and many of the required state tests take place during the month. We need the students in school daily and on time so we can teach them. Your help on a daily basis on this simple expectation is greatly appreciated.
PARCC and A.I.R. testing continues this month, as does the O.G.T. Please continue checking the website for dates and details as we get through these tests.
A reminder that the rescheduled P/T Conference Night is set for Thursday, March 5 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Please join us.
A reminder that third quarter ends Friday, March 27, followed by Spring Break from Monday March 30 thru Monday, April 6. School resumes Tuesday, April 7.
Thank you for allowing me the privilege to be the North Olmsted High School Principal. If I can be of any assistance, please contact me at 440-779-3520 or 440-779-8825 (Mrs. Horn’s line) Of course, feel free to email me as well at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Hope to see you at school or a school event in March. Go Eagles!
