| | Dear North Olmsted City Schools Families,
As we prepare to begin a new school year, I want to take a moment to share my excitement for the school year ahead. Each new year brings fresh opportunities to learn, grow, and build upon the strong foundation we’ve established together. I continue to believe deeply in our students, staff, and the supportive community that surrounds them.
Below you’ll find helpful information to ensure a smooth start to the year. Our building principals will also be sharing additional updates and communication to keep you informed every step of the way.
Here’s to a great year ahead. We can't wait to welcome everyone back!
Best Regards, Chris Caleris Superintendent

| | Food ServiceThe district will once again be participating in the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) program for the 2025-2026 school year. This means that all North Olmsted students (K-12) are eligible to receive a free breakfast and lunch at school for each day of the 2025-2026 school year.
The free meals will not apply to a la carte items (second entrees, smoothies, ice cream, sodas, juices, water etc.) and snacks (chips, cookies, crackers etc.). These items will still need to be purchased.
In order to receive the free breakfast or lunch, students need to take the entire meal which includes ½ cup fruit or vegetable. The CEP program does not provide free milk to those who pack their meals.
Families do not need to do anything to receive these free meals. Your student will be able to participate in the CEP program without having to pay a fee or submit an application.
