North Olmsted City Schools is proud to announce that Board of Education President Gina Lehmann has been recognized by the Ohio School Boards Association (OSBA) as a recipient of the prestigious Aptitude Award.
This distinguished honor is awarded to board members who demonstrate strong knowledge and proficiency in school board governance. Recipients must complete and pass a comprehensive assessment covering six key areas of leadership: vision, accountability, policy, community engagement, relationships, and advocacy.
A proud alumna of North Olmsted High School and Polaris Career Center, Lehmann brings a deep connection to the district she serves. She was elected to the Board of Education in 2022 and has previously served as vice president and on multiple board committees. In 2018, she was honored with the Educational Service Center’s Excellence in Education Award.
In addition to her role on the board, Lehmann works as a Behavioral Therapist for an ABA outreach company and currently serves students in North Royalton City Schools. She and her husband Curt—also a North Olmsted High School graduate—are the proud parents of three children: Norah, Molly, and Patrick.
Lehmann will be formally recognized at the OSBA Fall Regional Conference on October 1, 2025.
