 Spruce School is proud of their Relay for Life Team, "The Spruce Cruisers". Several members of our staff, families and friends participate in the fight against cancer. Fund raising is fun with a weekend of games, prizes, camaraderie and as little,(or as much), walking as one wishes at the NOHS track on June 19th and 20th. Hope to see you there. |

 3rd Grade Jump Rope for Heart Activity
Dear Spruce Family and Friends,
Our Spruce 3rd graders will be joining millions of other kids to help save lives with the American Heart Association's Jump Rope For Heart Program during the month of March! Will you help us?
Parents, I would like this program to be considered a family activity where close relatives or close neighbors can donate to our students to raise money for the American Heart Association. This is not a "door to door" activity for our students to solicit donations.
Prizes will be issued by the American Heart Association to students based upon the amount of donations they bring in. Your son/daughter has been given a special donations envelope describing the prizes offered and to place the donations into. Classroom teachers will help collect envelopes as they are brought in.
Jump Rope for Heart will end on Tuesday, March 30th and all donations must be turned in by this date. One gym class will be set aside at activity's end for students to Jump Rope for Heart and to participate in snacks and beverages for a "job well done".
It would be great to see your son/daughter volunteer for this great program!
