Book and Movie Club is for students who love to read and or watch movies.  We enjoy discussing what happened in the chapters of our story.  We meet every other Wednesday (unless holidays impact & occasionally on Fridays).  The librarians try to get us enough copies of the book we vote on together.  Sodas and snacks are provided each session while we watch our movie.  Friends will hang out talking about the book from 2:20 - 3:15 in the Crows Nest above the library.

Jazz Band - Advisor:  Mrs. Kovach

Jazz Band is a group of band students who play their instruments together in rehearsals and concerts. They specifically play in the style of jazz/swing music. Rehearsals will begin in January and will be on Tuesdays and some Wednesdays from 3:15 - 4:00pm in room PAC101. Students can play any concert band instrument, and also, drums, bass guitar, upright bass, guitar, and piano. This group is open to current band students.

Newspaper Club is a chance for students to research, report, and write on current events and topics that are of interest to NOMS readers. Members will collaborate to produce and edit a digital issue of "The Eagle Times" every month. Newspaper Club meets the first and third Tuesday of every month from 2:15 - 3:00 in Miss Billett's Room 114 .

Pep Band - Advisor:  Mrs. Kovach

Pep Band is a group of band students who play their instruments together at 8th grade boys basketball games in order to hype up the team and the crowd.  Rehearsals will begin in November and will be on Tuesdays and some Wednesdays from 3:15 - 4:00pm in room PAC101. The schedule of game performances will be handed out at the first rehearsal. This group is open to current band students.

Ski Club - Advisor:  Mrs. Began

Ski Club is for students who love to be active outdoors.  We have fun learning to ski or snowboard five times at Brandywine.  Lessons are included, but if you are already a master you do not need to do the lessons.  We meet on Thursdays for five sessions when there is snow.  Friends can also take breaks and meet in the lodge for food and hot chocolate.  The bus leaves around 4pm and we return from Brandywine at 9:30pm.
