North Olmsted

Empty Bowls is an evening to tackle food insecurity in our community.  This fundraiser is put on by the North Olmsted SITES program (partnered with the North Olmsted Education Foundation) to promote awareness of local food insecurity and hunger.  ALL proceeds from this event will go directly to the North Olmsted Oxcart Food Pantry.  Their mission is to provide food assistance to families and individuals residing in North Olmsted who are currently experiencing need.

Jessica Barwacz  has been selected as the next Principal of Pine Intermediate School and was approved  at the February 3rd North Olmsted Board of Education Meeting. Barwacz is replacing Jim Alexandrou who will be retiring at the end of this school year.

Families with children entering kindergarten are invited to attend our Kindergarten Information Night. This event is a great opportunity to learn more about our kindergarten program, meet school administrators and staff, and gain helpful information about registration, curriculum, and what to expect during your child’s first year of school.

We’re excited to launch our new district podcast, Voices of the Nest, where we highlight the people, stories, and experiences that make North Olmsted Schools a special place to learn and grow. Each episode features conversations that bring our school community to life—students, staff, alumni, and more.

This school year, our teachers will be using ParentSquare for classroom-level communication. ParentSquare is replacing Remind as our classroom communication tool for those teachers who choose to use it.

North Olmsted City Schools is proud to announce that Board of Education President Gina Lehmann has been recognized by the Ohio School Boards Association (OSBA) as a recipient of the prestigious Aptitude Award.
