E-Bikes and E-Scooters

E-Bike and E-Scooter Guidance
The district recognizes that e-bikes and e-scooters are growing in popularity among students. With their increased use, we have reviewed the overall safety of operating these devices on school property.

Students who ride e-bikes or e-scooters to and from school may no longer operate them on school grounds. Students should not ride e-bikes or e-scooters in school parking lots, driveways, or on sidewalks. This expectation applies to all school activities and extracurricular events, not just the regular school day.

Students who ride an e-bike or e-scooter to school are expected to walk the device on and off school property and place it at the designated bike racks at each building.

We appreciate everyone's cooperation and understanding as we work together to keep our students safe. If you have questions about this guidance, please reach out individually to your school's principal.

Additionally, the City of North Olmsted has put out guidance regarding e-bikes.
