The Strategic Plan provides the framework and blueprint to continue our work to become a premier learning community.
The mandates for raising the bar on the performance of our students includes looking at every major focus area of our operations.
The strategic plan areas of focus include: technology; facilities; curriculum and instruction; community engagement; operations and services; and finances.
The community is impacted by what takes place in our schools, and by the condition of our buildings.
A common theme voiced at the October, 2013 Community Forum included upgrading our facilities and technology, and keeping the public current on the financial status of the district. The public asked us to improve our operational efficiency as part of the guidelines put forth in the Strategic Plan.
The Task Force for the Facilities Master Plan has been working together to study the data and put forth the options that will best serve the needs of the students and the community.
Dr. Michael Zalar, Superintendent, will present the recommendations at a Community Forum on Monday, April 28th, from 7 - 9 p.m. in the North Olmsted Middle School Auditorium.
All community members are encouraged to attend, whether they have children or grandchildren in the schools.
