N.O. Early Childhood Program

Early Childhood Program

The North Olmsted Schools Early Childhood Program offers an inclusive early childhood programming intended to meet the needs of our community. Our program is designed to provide developmentally age-appropriate experiences in a safe and nurturing educational environment. Our programs are designed for 3- to 5-year-olds and promote the physical, emotional, social and cognitive development within curricular activities of typical and students eligible for special education services. These areas are integrated and implemented through child centered activities. The North Olmsted Schools Early Childhood Program integrates children with disabilities and typical preschoolers serve as role models for one another.

Instruction is developmentally appropriate and builds upon the strengths of each student. Planning and implementation of instruction are done collaboratively by a team of highly qualified professionals. The professionals who work in this collaborative approach as a multi-disciplinary team include: special education teachers, paraprofessionals, a speech therapist, a physical therapist, an occupational therapist, vision specialist, psychologist, district nurse, special education supervisor and Principal.

Please contact Jacquelyn Kelly at 440-588-5335 for more information on our Early Childhood program.
